GASTRONOMY.
First and foremost we would like to remind to all of our guest that they are always welcomed to come and shop at La Terra e il Cielo. What we have to offer is a long list of excellent organic products, from pasta, to wine, olive oil, tomato sauce, cereals, and many others.
Locally, our kitchen traditions are based upon genuine ingredients locally produced and with strong historical influences. It is possible to find the best beef, lamb, salami, and some other Marche’s specialties. The most famous dish for our region is “vincisgrassi,” a particular type of pasta stuffed with meat and topped with cheese.
The cakes and pastries worth trying are the local “calcioni,” “ciambelle,” “pizza al formaggio,” “frittelloni,” “biscotti di mosto.”
The hill territory is ideal for the production of excellent wines such as DOC Verdicchio from Jesi and Red Pisceno. Many other types of wine can be also found within the local farms of Piticchio and Nidastore.
Equally genuine is the extra virgin olive oil from Piticchio. Not to forget are the exquisite honey, many types of cheese, and fruit and vegetable produced all over on the territory.
