CARNIVAL: It is a characteristic festival held in Piazza Garibaldi, the main square, where you can taste mulled wine, and typical cakes.
1° MAGGIO: “Sagra degli asparagi di montagna” ad Avacelli. The traditional festival of mountain asparagus held in Avacelli.
8 GIUGNO: “San Medardo.” The feast of the patron Saint Medardo with a big country fair.
SUMMER TIME: musical shows, plays, films, exhibitions and various games and concerts by the “L. Filippini” philarmonic orchestra.
MID-JULY: “Sentieri e castelli di Rocca Contrada,” mountain-bike race.
AUGUST 15TH: Grand Galà in the Leopardi Gardens.
LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER: “Festa dell’Uva.” Since 1930 the last weekend in September has been an important date for the town with gastronomic stands, concerts, craft stalls and the traditional parade of floats.
OCTOBER: “Festa d’Autunno.” To celebrate Saint Martin there is a festival of chestnuts and wine in the charming settino of Piticchio.
CHRISTMAS: concert by the “L. Filippini” philarminic orchestra, games, films, and exhibitions.
